Juan Salvador works as a stagehand in a theatre. He tidies, tidies and tidies. HE tidies a dressing room, handkerchiefs, cotton, brushes\u2026Juan Salvador gets confused: he imagines that handkerchiefs are pigeons, and cotton becomes bombs in his hands. From tidying and imagining so much the dressing room suddenly turns into the moon, the sea, or a gloomy mansion. Juan Salvador lives, in his imagination, wonderfully absurd adventures that do not always have a happy ending and almost always and up causing a disaster when getting back to reality. Juan Salvador gets disappointed, and keeps tidying as directed. Will Juan Salvador make the dressing room clean? Can he live up to the insistent calls from his boss? Can he put aside his imagination and return to his job?<\/p>\n\n

The chilean company La Mona Ilustre presents with “Juan Savador Tramoya” the imagination of a character-stagehand, whose daily job is cleaning a theatre dressing room. The show is a tragicomic and Chaplinesque tinged delirium, in which the gesture game and laughter tell us about the subtle and important difference between what they say we should be and what we really are. Juan Salvador Tramoya presents the apparent routine of a character with the sole and simple task of tidying up things, but whose reach imagination transports us to absurd and unexpected places, making us get into what he really is, a valuable and inimitable human being.<\/p>\n
