Session // Panel Discussion »Which Society Reflects (Amateur) Theater?«

Fri, June 18, 2021 // 5:30 pm
Online (German)

The question posed in the title of the conversation already raises a number of questions: Is there a collective of amateur theaters based on solidarity Who is in and who is excluded? What content, whose content is presented on the stages of these amateur theaters? And for what – ideological, economic, logistical – reasons?

How do topics such as (stereotypical) role expectations and the freedom to act out the gradations of one’s own identity(s) play into these discussions? Which prospects for change can we imagine or already observe? Which prospects for change can we imagine or already observe?

Aware that we are in an open-ended learning process, we exchange attitudes and positions and reflect together – possibly still unfinished – thoughts.
