UPDATE: Is cancelled because of the war in the Ukraine!
The artists from the theatre-studio “11” and the dokumentartheater Berlin will talk about the current situation for art and theatre in Ukraine in a joint reading with musical accompaniment “Ukraine on Fire”.
Referent: Vlada Belosorenko- director and artistic leader of Theatre Studio “11”, Kiew/Ukraine
In this workshop Vlada Belosorenko (ballet dancer, psychologist and director) accompanies the participants on a research trip into their own body. This one is an instrument for acting which tells more than every text can do.
The same thing applies to real life. Our own body is our best friend, our protector. If we manage finding a common language with it, it is much easier to create a new world on stage. If we fail in finding this language, being insecure and irresolute, this will block our acting. In this workshop the participants will explore their own bodies, they will build trust in it, learn to relax and resolve blockages. By using dynamic meditation, the limits of personal body awareness are getting stretched. By the means of pictorial thinking, the participants learn how to listen to the language of their bodies as well as practicing body improvisation. Thereby, voice and conscious breathing get involved and trained.
